Good Reviews

Wanderlust

Taylor and I went and saw this movie last weekend and OH MY GOD I just loved it. I laughed so hard I think I might have actually peed a little, and I can’t wait until it comes out of blu-ray so I can buy it and watch it again and again and again, possibly while drunk. Basically if you like Paul Rudd, Jennifer Aniston or Wet Hot American Summer you should see this movie as soon as possible, and if you don’t like any of those things then frankly, I don’t want to be your friend and why are you even reading this blog anyway?

Jezzy Belle’s Vintage

This is my friend Deborah’s vintage etsy shop and she has so many great clothes, including a plus-size section, and everything is on sale right now so you should definitely check it out!

CHIA Seed Bread from Cob’s Breads

Ch-ch-ch-chia

When Sym was a kid her dad would only buy white bread so now it’s a HUGE struggle to get her to eat any other kind of bread. I love this chia seed bread from Cob’s because even though it’s still white bread (I’ve bought the whole wheat kind before and it was NO DICE with Sym) I at least feel like she’s getting some nutrition from it.

Good Bad TV Shows

Good Bad Tv

I watch plenty of good TV shows, but it’s nice to have some guilty pleasure shows that are cheesy and ridiculous. Right now I’m loving Ringer and Grimm, and although I just started watching The Secret Circle I have high hopes for it.

    1. I’m hoping it’s gonna be like Dawson’s Creek x The Craft. TELL ME IT DOESN’T DISAPPOINT because we’re probably going to marathon it while everything is on hiatus.

  1. Secret Circle is a special kind of bad that just keeps you coming back for more. I love it–I know it’s terrible and will admit to that, but I got to get my fix.

I kind of gave up on Grimm after the 4th episode… should I pick it back up again? Every episode followed the same formula and I found that disappointing.

  2. You like YA fiction, don’t you? Read the Secret Circle trilogy by L.J. Smith! It was one of my favorite series when I was a supernatural-loving youth.

    1. Mostly I just like YA novels set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian society but maybe I’ll give it a try!

  3. Is Ringer any good? I’ve been debating on if I should start watching it or if watching it will be like watching a sad puffy post Buffy Nicholas Brendon.

  4. Yay! Now I have something to watch. I have been sad since I finished Primeval. SMG might actually win when compared to prehistoric animals traveling through portals to (apparently) eat all the people, while the most ineffective team in the world tries to stop them.

OK. You’re facing velociraptors in a mall – I know! We’ll give you no radio communication, two trank guns (for all 4 of you to share), and no body armour. Good luck! BTW, the SWAT guys are waiting outside. Just because.
